Thou Shalt Not Part 2

We have a few more rules that need to be made clear. Sorry if this is starting to read like the Ten Commandments but if you can put into practice a good strategy you can beat the casinos.

Here are some rules that are good to follow when you are ahead of the online casinos. Remember, they can and will do anything to make sure they win!

1. Per Table Win
If you’re working a system, don’t base your wins on the amount, but the number of games you have won. For example – you can set a rule of 5 wins per table before switching table.

2. Maximum Time
As mentioned above, online casinos like to profile people – and the more time you play per game, the more time they have to profile you. Imagine this:- you play 100 spins of a roulette wheel, and you have a win ratio of 70%. If you were the boss of a casino what would you think?
Yes. “That guy / girl is working a system”. The software thinks the same, and it tries to adjust the odds to bring your winnings back into proportion. This does not mean it cheats, but it does mean to truly win you need to be prepared to quit while your ahead, and switch casino. So set a max time per casino. Try something like 30 minutes.

3. Use multiple online Casinos

This helps to avoid the whole ‘profiling’ theory. If you play with multiple casinos, you play for a shorter overall time at each casino, thus reducing the chance they have to create a profile and twist the odds in their favour.

4. Daily Limit.
This is more of a personal recommendation than a hard and fast rule. Set a daily limit on how many hours a day you play. Firstly – gambling can be an addiction, and when you get caught this addiction can and will cost you your job, your friends, and maybe even your family. Play it safe and mix it up with other activities to ensure you don’t get emotional or addicted.

Following on from our earlier post, today we are going to take a look at how to develop a winning roulette strategy. So to start, we have a few rules that every gambler should set in stone.

Number 1: A Gambling Bankroll.
i.e. How much can you afford to gamble? If you have never heard of a bankroll, you need to think about this, because this is what sets you aside from the amateurs. First – set aside some disposable funds. Don’t dig into savings, just make a small percentage of funds available that you class as disposable. Put this into a separate account solely for gambling, and make a rule that this is your gaming money. When it’s gone you stop and you don’t touch any other money but your gaming money.

Number 2: A Session Bankroll.
This is how much money you are willing to spend per session. This must be a realistic amount, and it cannot be 100% of your gaming bankroll. You need to cover your back with this, and it is recommended that you split your Gambling bankroll into at least 20 or more session bank rolls.

So – if you have a gambling bankroll of $100 – this will give you 20 $5 sessions. So when you work it out like this, $100 really isn’t enough to start gambling.

Number 3: A Stop Loss
Okay – so what is a stop loss ? If you are not winning, your loosing. Set up a strategy so you can still quit while you’re ahead, because when your losing you are more likely to make an irrational decision. Stop in advance. I have a rule that says if I lose 5 times in a row, I quit. I do this so that

A) I don’t expose too much of my session bankroll

B) I don’t spend my gambling bankroll in one go.

C) If the odds are against me, I’m doing something wrong. This rule means I quit, take a break and come back with a fresh head.

Roulette 101

Roulette is one of the more ‘mystical’ casino games. Many people approach it with caution because of the fact it looks very random, and somewhat complicated.

Today we are going to prove this myth wrong.

Roulette is a game that is based on the spin of a wheel, and players get to choose bets on either the colour of the slot the ball lands in, a number or a range of numbers, or whether the outcome is going to be odd or even.

There are two versions of roulette – American roulette, and European roulette. If you are playing roulette, we strongly recommend you find a casino with European roulette; because American roulette features a 0, and 00. This allows for the house to win more.

Betting Strategies

If you look at the table, you will see its laid out in squares. You can bet on an individual number or a range of numbers. We recommend that you try not to bet on any one individual number, but focus on the 1st 12, 2nd 12 and 3rd 12. This way, there is a 1/3 chance of winning, and the odds are either 2:1 or 3:1 depending on where you play.

For a casino game such as roulette, it is very important to have a good bankroll and betting system setup. If you are a martingale fan, make sure you use short runs because the roulette wheel is known to be unforgiving. Set your stop loss ( the amount your winning to lose ) to be not so high, and make sure you remember that if you break your rules, you break your system and the casino wins.

We also recommend not playing online roulette for longer than twenty minutes at a table. It is important to adhere to this, because the tables can be known to develop a profile for you and they will start to work against you if you are consistently winning. for this reason, we also recommend signing up at multiple casinos.

Right now we are playing at a few online casinos but right now we’re focusing our efforts on Bet365 as they are reputable and a well known brand.

Stay tuned for more roulette information and tips.
